Vehicular traffic was diverted for most of the day in the heart of downtown, Freeport on Saturday, all for good reason.
The highly anticipated, ‘I Love Freeport’ event was the purpose for the diversion as a wholesome street party took place for residents and visitors of the island to enjoy. As the event commenced at noon, the intersection of Pioneer’s Way and the Mall Drive were closed prior to the start in preparation for the multitude of acts and performances that were on display, on the stage that was erected for the celebration.
