Looking for Directors for our Short Tales!

Why we're assembling our Short Tales

The idea behind Shakespeare in Paradise 2018's Short Tales is to provide opportunity and exposure for emerging talent. We want to feature the work of different writers, and we also want to give budding directors experience in working with scripts that are not their own.
As we move to put together our series of 8-12 short plays by different playwrights, we also need to find 4-6 directors for these works.

Each director may be assigned at least two of the scripts, one in the first half of the evening and one in the second.

How to apply

Are you a director? Send us your CV!

Are you a wannabe director? Let us know what you've done on stage OR screen!
We'll meet with writers and directors at the beginning of June, so that we can make final tweaks to the scripts and assign them to their directors. We'll workshop the scripts as needed in June. Auditions are in July. Rehearsals start July 30.
