The Ministry of Health announced the National HIV/AIDS Programme will host ‘Testing in the Gardens’ to raise public awareness on the importance of citizens knowing their status.
'Testing in the Gardens' is in an effort to reduce the alarming HIV/AIDS prevalence rates in the country.
In commitment to early HIV diagnosis and “as a safeguard to the health and well-being of all Bahamians”, the ministry said it has “scaled up” HIV testing during the month of June.
This year, National Testing Day will take place Friday, June 29th.
The event will feature free testing all day, at Royal Victoria Gardens, on Shirley Street from 8am to 4pm. Read more >>
