Deveaux-Isaacs confirmed as BCB general manager

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Executive Chairman Mike Smith and the Board of Directors of The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas on Monday announced that Kayleaser Deveaux-Isaacs has been confirmed as General Manager of The Corporation effective, November 1.

“I am honoured that the Board of Directors has entrusted me with this opportunity to serve in this capacity,” Deveaux Isaacs said. “Already, my team and I have made some great strides and we look forward to reshaping and enhancing the Corporation, especially the upgrade of the Northern Service from Analog to Digital; it is long overdue.

“We will seek to push the envelope further in an effort to unify our people on the various islands with our programming content choices through the aid and assistance of technology, as we work to transition fully to PBS.”

Deveaux-Isaacs will lead the BCB’s team as it transitions its Radio and Television facilities to provide more Public Broadcasting Services (PBS).  Read more >>
