Doctors prepare for industrial action

A withdrawal of services will happen in short order as senior physicians have officially walked away from negotiations with the Public Hospitals Authority (PHA), according to Consultant Physicians Staff Association (CPSA) President Dr. Locksley Munroe.

“At this moment, unless they come back with something that is more in keeping with what we are suggesting, there is really no intentions of going back there because we are not going to be discussing anything that is acceptable to us,” Munroe said.
