Nov 21, 2013 - This week's issue of Bahamian Art & Culture features tonight's opening of Kishan Munroe's “Swan Song of The Flamingo” at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.
This weekend, we see two jumping jazz events – one in Nassau and the other in Freeport. Also this weekend is the always enjoyable Jollification at the Bahamas National Trust.
Next weekend sees the opening of the Public Treasury's Art Programme's exhibition "Retort" and Lowree Tynes' exhibition "3031". In December, Save the Date for art auctions, exhibitions, concerts, music and book launches.
We also showcase articles by Noelle Nicolls and Royann Dean on Bahamian art & culture as well as art in the news and call for works.
