Thursday, October 9, 2014 – Smith & Benjamin's "Bahamian Art & Culture" eMagazine is chock full of events and news stories just in time to kick off our holiday weekend.
Tonight is the opening of The Salus Project's “In Observation” at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. This weekend we see the launch of a number of Regattas and Homecomings as well as the continuation of the “Taste Our Bahamas” Food Festival. Next week there is an event every night including the first Cuban Cultural Week, Conch-Cracking Festival, the Small Art Evening Art Sale, "A Tear & a Smile" Exhibition by Chantal Bethel, a Fall Soirée of Design, Absolut Art Ambition, and Central Bank of The Bahamas’ 31st Annual Art Competition and Exhibition. We also have a fresh catch of art and culture news from The Bahamas and around the world.
