FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, March, 8, 2015 - "Your presence here tonight despite the extreme cold temperatures outside, is an indication to us that you are truly interested in learning about what The Islands Of The Bahamas has to offer you and your clients," Jennifer Gardiner-Bannister, the Mid-Atlantic Area Manager, for The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, recently told a packed room of travel agents in Pittsburgh, PA at a Bahamas Travel Agents Trade Show and Seminar.

The agents in attendance braved chilling temperatures that dipped in the teens and even single digits wind chill, the week of March 2-6th, to learn about the Vacation Express Grand Bahama Summer Program 2015.  The program features direct service from Pittsburgh International airport to Grand Bahama Island, August 7th to October 26th, using Sun Wing Airline's 737-800 jet series, with a 4 nights/5 days rotation.  Program packages begin at $379 and include round-trip air, hotel accommodations and ground transfers.  Among the hotels being offered in the program are a few all-inclusive properties, which will mean meals and drinks included as well.

A traveling team from The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board has undertaken a three-week Sales and PR Mission across the U.S to inform agents about the exciting, easy and affordable, Summer Program.  Cities visited over the past few weeks include, Newark, Philadelphia, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio and Pittsburgh.  The week of March 9th, the team will travel to Baltimore, Atlanta and Nashville. Houston, Texas, is also a part of the Summer Program.
