NASSAU, Bahamas -- The Miss Bahamas Organization (MBO) wishes to announce the restructuring of its entry requirements. Young ladies who aspire to become a national beauty ambassador will now have an easier task of taking the first step towards that goal, as the entry fees have been cut in half. The cost of entry has been reduced to $500 as compared to $1000, however there are other requirements that the candidates will have to meet as well.
MBO President Michelle Malcolm explains that the major change in policy comes in the wake of tough economic times in which contestants and directors have experienced difficulty in securing sponsorship.
